Wazzuuuup Crochet Crew?
Football Season is on, baby! What better way to celebrate than another free crochet pattern, this time to hook up your very own set of mini crochet Football Amigurumi. And yeah I’m saying set, cause you are going to want to do a couple of them. Even more so, as I give you the instructions for several different versions of design, fully customizable for you to rock them lil’ Amigurumi Footballs in the colors of your favorite Football Teams.
With the different designs, we also got different versions that are suitable for every skill level, so if you more on the beginner side, we got a very easy single-colored version, but if you are crazy for crocheting some insane amount of color changes, I got just the pattern for you to knock yourself out with and get a nice crochet Football with stripes as result (the one they use on the college level).
Finally, these lil’ crochet Footballs are super versatile. They are suitable for your lil’ one or cat to play with as a traditional Amigurumi style Football by using fiberfill. Or, play around with the filling a bit and using something like cherry pits you can get yourself a shiny new Hacky sack toy to throw around while watching the game on Sunday. Enjoy, fam and most importantly shoutout to my Nr 1 Squad… Go BUCS! ❤️🩶🧡

The Laces
R1) | 14fsc | (14) |
If you’re not cool with crocheting the fsc, you can alternatively just chain 15 and then do 14 single crochet stitches across the foundation chain to come to basically the same result.
For the rest of the laces, make a long chain (~70 stitches should do) and sew 6-8 short laces across with it. To fasten off, simply tie a knot with the tail of the beginning and cut off the rest of the chain (if you are a berzerker like myself).
I know, that’s a lil’ drastic, but I was honestly too lazy for any alternative approach (individual 6-8 parts for the laces or checking for the right length).
Congrats, you’re done! 💯
Mad props for checking out my pattern! 💜💛
